WHITBY DISTILLERY SURGES PAST £200K FUNDRAISING TARGET

Whitby Distillery in South Yorkshire by the sea have announced their £200k fundraising target has already surpassed £455k with 26 days left. 

Having achieved £1.15 million in gross sales in the year ending February 2024, the business maintained a strong compound annual growth rate of 35.72%. Average online orders were £56, with over 200 independent retailers listing their products in the UK. Direct to consumer sales accounted for 40% from online, retail, tours and events.

The funds will fuel Whitby’s growth, with the investment intended to drive sales growth, expand market reach, and capture a greater share of the premium spirits market. This will include product expansion, marketing, operational efficiency projects and export expansion.

Investors in the distillery will receive a range of perks depending on how much they put in, including private events and tours, discounts and merchandise.
