Mortlach 30 Year Old Midnight Malt

After being aged for over 4 decades, the Talisker 43yr Xpedition Oak was finally finished in 10 casks, each of which included a few staves that traversed the harsh and beautiful elements of the Atlantic with wild spirit James Aiken – this is Talisker’s finest expression of Made by the Sea to date.

Whilst the distillery remains a closely guarded secret, what we can tell you is that this is a sherry cask matured, single malt whisky from Speyside. The casks were produced to Gordon & MacPhail’s exact specifications, delivering a complex, rich, and elegant whisky with sweet sherry influences and an intriguing air of mystery at 46%.
Colour: Amber
Nose: Stewed fruit notes combined with apple, roasted nuts, and subtle chocolate. Honeycomb and dried apricot notes are present.
Taste: Spicy to start, followed by blackberry, raspberry, and apple. Milk chocolate, tangerine, and oak also come to the fore.
Finish: Medium finish with hints of menthol and lasting cocoa.
Benromach 21 Year Old 5cl Sample

Palate: Sweet initially with cracked black pepper, Seville orange and raspberry flavours lead to baked apple and subtle spice.

Aroma Dark Chocolate aromas complement ginger and cinnamon spice. Blackcurrant gives way to Medjool dates and sweet vanilla pod.
Taste Rich fruitcake flavours lead to baked apples and rich, sweet smoke. Peanut brittle comes to the fore alongside dark cherry and spicy pepper.
Finish Long and full finish with lasting dried fruit and bonfire embers.

Aroma Initially, cascading aromas of dried fruit and rich Sherry. Hints of wood polish and candied fruit combine with an intense note of orange oil. Baking spices – clove, nutmeg, allspice – combine before revealing a subtle menthol edge.
Taste Initial mature oak notes open into flavours of autumnal berries: blackberry, blackcurrant, redcurrant and cranberry. Crystallised ginger develops while traces of dark chocolate add complexity. Aniseed notes remain.
Finish A delightfully balanced fruit and oak finish; nutty notes underscore a subtle but lingering humidor edge.

Chances are there wasn't collaboration, communication, and checkpoints, there wasn't a process agreed upon or specified with the granularity required. - But what about your daily bread? Design comps, layouts, wireframes—will your clients accept that you go about things the facile way?
- Authorities in our business will tell in no uncertain terms that Lorem Ipsum is that huge, huge no no to forswear forever.
- Not so fast, I'd say, there are some redeeming factors in favor of greeking text, as its use is merely the symptom of a worse problem to take into consideration.
- Websites in professional use templating systems.
- Commercial publishing platforms and content management systems ensure that you can show different text, different data using the same template.
- When it's about controlling hundreds of articles, product pages for web shops, or user profiles in social networks, all of them potentially with different sizes, formats, rules for differing elements things can break, designs agreed upon can have unintended consequences and look much different than expected.
This is quite a problem to solve, but just doing without greeking text won't fix it. Using test items of real content and data in designs will help, but there's no guarantee that every oddity will be found and corrected. Do you want to be sure? Then a prototype or beta site with real content published from the real CMS is needed—but you’re not going that far until you go through an initial design cycle.
