Glengoyne 12 Year Old – £36
A highland distillery on Glasgow’s doorstep. Glengoyne is distilled more slowly than any other malt whisky. They nurse the spirit through the stills to create the complex, fruity, award-winning spirit.
Their 12 Year Old whisky produces some great notes consisting of lemon zest, toffee apples – and a scent of coconut. Hand-selected sherry casks help create this paradise of flavours and rich, golden colour. It’s the taste of Scotland’s slowest distillation, and our insistence on barley dried by air – never peat.
This cracking dram scored gold at the 2022 International Wine & Spirits Competition.
Old Perth 12 Year Old – £43.50
Old Perth brings together the finest of sherry matured malt whisky from a selection of pedigree Speyside distilleries and expertly blends them in our home city of Perth, Scotland.
This gorgeous 12 year old has matured exclusively aged in sherry casks and is non-chill filtered and bottled without any added colour.
Fantastic notes of stewed fruit, marmalade and cinnamon all hit the palate, giving this lovely whisky a really warm and lasting finish.
Benromach Cara Gold Limited Edition – £45
Benromach is a handmade Speyside single malt with a subtle smoky character, matured exclusively in first-fill casks. It takes just four ingredients – barley, water, yeast and a human touch.
Benromach’s Cara Gold is a limited release made using a combination of Cara Gold malted barley and lightly peated malt. Matured in first-fill bourbon barrels, just 6,000 bottled were produced globally. This wonderful whisky offers perfumed and tropical fruit notes, leading to pepper and toasted malt with a hint of butterscotch, and a vibrant, sweet smoke finish.
