Glenfarclas 1999 25 Year Old Last Of The Millennium Cask Decanter
£595.00 inc. VATOn the final day of the last millennium, the Grant family and distillery staff gathered to fill a series of casks at Glenfarclas. Among the attendees was George Grant, who had served as Chairman for an extraordinary 52 years, and his son John, the current Chairman. This would be the last time George visited the distillery before passing away in 2002, lending profound significance to this cask.
Comprising the fourth edition of the Glenfarclas decanter series, this single cask was chosen from the twelve filled that day as a showcase of Glenfarclas’ heritage and unique style. A single sherry butt was selected and filled on 31st December 1999 and matured for over 25 years, before being bottled on 28th august 2025.
Bottled at natural colour and at 51.2% abv, only 600 Glencairn decanters have been produced.
Please note we are awaiting stock from Glenfarclas for this release which will be the beginning of December.

Glen Grant 25 Year Old
A true collector’s whisky, Glen Grant 25 Year Old embodies decades of craftsmanship and slow maturation. This long-aged Speyside malt delivers extraordinary complexity, with refined notes of stewed apple, dark honey, toasted nuts, and polished oak. The nose is rich and expressive, while the palate remains incredibly smooth, with a lingering finish that carries hints of spice and soft smoke. A whisky to mark life’s finest moments, best enjoyed slowly and with reverence.
Imperial 33 Year Old 1989
From the silent Imperial Distillery, this 33-year-old single malt is an extraordinarily rare snapshot of a lost Speyside producer. Distilled in 1989 and matured in cask #2069, a single bourbon barrel, it produced an exceptionally small outturn of just 107 individually numbered bottles — a number that underlines just how scarce whisky from Imperial has become since its closure.
Now long demolished, Imperial cannot produce another drop, and each remaining cask grows more valuable and more limited every year. This release, bottled at its natural cask strength of 51.3% and left uncoloured and non-chill filtered, showcases beautifully mature Speyside fruit, honeyed richness and warming spice, but beyond flavour it is the rarity that stands out: only one cask, only one moment in time, and only 107 bottles available globally.
For collectors and enthusiasts of silent distilleries, this is the type of release that disappears almost as quickly as it arrives.
Laphroaig 34 Year Old Ian Hunter Chapter 5

Layers of soft peat smoke, honeyed sweetness, tropical fruit, and gentle maritime notes evolve with every sip, leading to an elegant, lingering finish. Presented in a luxury book-style case, this limited-edition release is a true collector’s item and an extraordinary dram for connoisseurs of Islay whisky.
Johnnie Walker Bicentennial 28 Year Old 200th Edition
It is a celebration of where it all began back in 1820, taking you on a sensorial journey through the fragrant aisles of John Walker’s original grocery store. Rare and exceptional whiskies, including ghost stocks from the long-closed distilleries of Pittyvaich, Cambus and Port Ellen, have been explored to craft a whisky that reimagines the exotic flavours of the 1820s. All the whiskies in this limited edition have been aged for at least 28 years. The first sip opens the doors to reveal delicious layers of spice mingling with sweet honey and rich molasses inspired by the rows of tempting jars. Waves of sultanas, cocoa beans and herbal notes are carried on wisps of soft smoke leading you further down the aisles of John’s store with every sip.

Chances are there wasn't collaboration, communication, and checkpoints, there wasn't a process agreed upon or specified with the granularity required. It's content strategy gone awry right from the start. Forswearing the use of Lorem Ipsum wouldn't have helped, won't help now. It's like saying you're a bad designer, use less bold text, don't use italics in every other paragraph. True enough, but that's not all that it takes to get things back on track.
The villagers are out there with a vengeance to get that Frankenstein
You made all the required mock ups for commissioned layout, got all the approvals, built a tested code base or had them built, you decided on a content management system, got a license for it or adapted:
- The toppings you may chose for that TV dinner pizza slice when you forgot to shop for foods, the paint you may slap on your face to impress the new boss is your business.
- But what about your daily bread? Design comps, layouts, wireframes—will your clients accept that you go about things the facile way?
- Authorities in our business will tell in no uncertain terms that Lorem Ipsum is that huge, huge no no to forswear forever.
- Not so fast, I'd say, there are some redeeming factors in favor of greeking text, as its use is merely the symptom of a worse problem to take into consideration.
- Websites in professional use templating systems.
- Commercial publishing platforms and content management systems ensure that you can show different text, different data using the same template.
- When it's about controlling hundreds of articles, product pages for web shops, or user profiles in social networks, all of them potentially with different sizes, formats, rules for differing elements things can break, designs agreed upon can have unintended consequences and look much different than expected.
This is quite a problem to solve, but just doing without greeking text won't fix it. Using test items of real content and data in designs will help, but there's no guarantee that every oddity will be found and corrected. Do you want to be sure? Then a prototype or beta site with real content published from the real CMS is needed—but you’re not going that far until you go through an initial design cycle.
