Tobermory 21 Year Old
The Tobermory 21 Year Old is an exceptional island malt that reflects both the vibrancy of its distillery and the patience of long maturation. Over two decades in oak have given the whisky layers of complexity — orchard fruits and citrus mingle with caramel, toasted oak, and delicate spice. There is a coastal freshness too, a reminder of the distillery’s home on the Isle of Mull, where sea air seeps into the casks as they rest. The palate is smooth yet structured, carrying flavours of malt sweetness and soft spice, before evolving into a long, elegant finish. Bottled with care, this expression balances the natural liveliness of Tobermory with the sophistication of age, making it an island whisky of true refinement and distinction.
Deanston 18 Year Old
Deanston 18 Year Old embodies the Highland distillery’s philosophy of craftsmanship, tradition, and natural character. Matured for nearly two decades in oak, this expression showcases a bold yet refined flavour profile. Rich toffee and honey sweetness sit alongside dried fruits, zesty citrus, and warming oak spice, while its natural colour and non-chill filtered presentation ensure an authentic taste experience. On the palate, it is full-bodied yet balanced, with malt richness shining through and a lingering finish that hints at vanilla and clove. Every drop reflects Deanston’s heritage, from the pure waters of the River Teith to the hands-on methods that shape its spirit. A whisky with both strength and subtlety, it is a perfect dram for those who appreciate Highland whiskies crafted with integrity and depth.
Moulin Rouge Cru Bourgeois 2017
A refined Bordeaux red, Moulin Rouge Cru Bourgeois 2017 embodies the classic Médoc style with depth, structure, and elegance. Crafted from a balanced blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, this vintage offers generous aromas of blackcurrant, plum, and subtle cedar. On the palate, ripe dark fruits mingle with notes of tobacco, spice, and a hint of graphite, supported by fine-grained tannins. The finish is long, savoury, and poised, reflecting both the pedigree of Cru Bourgeois classification and the character of the 2017 vintage.
Tasting Notes
Nose: Blackcurrant, plum, cedar, and earthy spice
Palate: Ripe dark fruit, tobacco, graphite, and oak spice
Finish: Elegant, structured, with smooth tannins and lingering depth
James Suckling: 92 points
‘Warm berry-pastry aromas with mulberries and boysenberries, too. The palate has a long, supple and juicy feel with a wealth of rich berries. Plenty to offer here, this has a plush array or ripe dark fruit, driving the palate long and true. A blend of 50 per cent merlot, 40 per cent cabernet sauvignon and ten per cent cabernet franc.’
La Brune The Valley Chardonnay 2025
The Valley Chardonnay 2025 balances richness with precision. The growing season brought even ripening, producing fruit with concentrated flavour and natural acidity. Pale gold with green flecks, it offers aromas of white peach, citrus zest, and almond cream, layered with hints of flint and vanilla. The palate is textured yet refined, with ripe stone fruit and lemon curd lifted by a streak of minerality. Gentle oak integration adds warmth and spice without overwhelming the fruit’s purity. A long, poised finish leaves a mouthwatering impression, inviting another sip.
This is a Chardonnay built for versatility — equally comfortable with roast chicken, pan-seared scallops, or creamy mushroom pasta. While delicious now, a few years in the cellar will allow its nutty and toasty dimensions to deepen, rewarding patience with even greater complexity.
Valpolicella Cavedini 2023
Cavedini 2023 Valpolicella captures the lively, fruit-forward character that makes the style so beloved. A blend of Corvina, Corvinone, and Rondinella, it opens with aromas of ripe cherry, redcurrant, and a touch of dried rose. The palate is bright and juicy, with soft tannins carrying flavours of fresh strawberry, plum, and a hint of sweet spice. Fermented and aged in stainless steel, the focus is entirely on fruit purity and freshness, with a clean, lifted finish.
This is classic Valpolicella — uncomplicated yet full of charm, perfect with pasta al pomodoro, pizza margherita, or grilled sausages. Its light, supple nature also makes it a wonderful choice for a slight chill in the warmer months, where its red berry vibrancy really comes alive.
Cinso Loco org Clos des Nines 2022
Cinso Loco 2022 is a celebration of Cinsault’s juicy, joyful personality. Bright garnet in the glass, it greets you with aromas of red cherry, wild strawberry, and cranberry, accented by notes of fresh thyme and a gentle spice. The palate is light to medium-bodied, with soft tannins framing a rush of red fruit, pomegranate, and subtle floral tones. Fermentation with native yeasts preserves a sense of place and purity, while gentle handling in the cellar keeps the texture silky and fresh.
This is a wine made for casual enjoyment — serve it slightly chilled on a warm afternoon alongside charcuterie, grilled vegetables, or roast chicken. Its vibrant acidity and minimal intervention style make it as engaging for natural wine enthusiasts as it is for those discovering the grape’s charms for the first time.
Te Kano Life Pinot Gris 2023
Te Kano’s Life Pinot Gris 2023 delivers vibrancy and finesse in equal measure. The season’s cool nights and sunny days produced fruit with crystalline acidity and delicate aromatic lift.
On the nose, white nectarine, pear, and citrus blossom are joined by subtle hints of ginger and fresh herbs. The palate is beautifully balanced — silky and rounded, yet with a spine of refreshing minerality that carries flavours of ripe stone fruit, Meyer lemon, and a touch of honeysuckle. There’s a purity and precision here that makes it effortlessly food-friendly, from grilled prawns and summer salads to lightly spiced Asian dishes. The finish is long, clean, and just off-dry, leaving the impression of freshness and elegance.
A wine that embodies the spirit of its name: vibrant, life-affirming, and full of character.
Phelps Creek Vineyards Pinot Noir 2019
From the rolling hills of Oregon’s Columbia Gorge, Phelps Creek crafts a Pinot Noir that captures the cool-climate elegance of the region.
The 2019 vintage benefited from a long, temperate growing season, allowing fruit to ripen slowly and develop remarkable aromatic complexity. Bright ruby in the glass, it offers an inviting bouquet of wild strawberry, raspberry compote, and rose petals, lifted by hints of forest floor and baking spice. The palate is finely textured, with supple tannins carrying red berry flavours wrapped in subtle notes of clove, vanilla, and earth. There’s a fresh, mineral-driven core that keeps each sip vibrant and focused, leading to a lingering finish that balances fruit purity with savoury depth.
Equally suited to refined dishes like herb-crusted salmon or mushroom risotto as it is to a casual charcuterie board, this wine shows why Pinot Noir thrives here — graceful, expressive, and irresistibly drinkable.
Cambon la Pelouse Cru Bourgeois Exceptionnel 2018
Nestled between Margaux and Saint-Julien, Cambon la Pelouse holds a coveted position in the Haut-Médoc, and the 2018 vintage proves why it has earned “Cru Bourgeois Exceptionnel” status.
A warm, dry season delivered small, deeply coloured berries, translating into a wine of concentration and finesse. On the nose, cassis and black cherry mingle with hints of cedar, tobacco leaf, and crushed violet. The palate is plush yet structured, with ripe tannins framing layers of dark fruit, graphite, and a touch of cocoa. There’s an effortless balance here — the opulence of the vintage tempered by a refreshing lift on the finish. Extended barrel ageing has woven in subtle spice and a silky texture, making it approachable now but capable of ageing gracefully for a decade or more.
This is Left Bank Bordeaux at its most generous, pairing beautifully with roast lamb, duck breast, or a simple grilled ribeye. A bottle that speaks of classic Médoc elegance while delivering the richness and depth modern palates love.
Booker’s True Barrel Bourbon 2024 Batch 2024-01E
The 2024 release of Booker’s Bourbon is a powerful tribute to legacy, crafted in honour of master distiller Fred Noe’s father, Booker Noe. Aptly named the Springfield Batch, this expression celebrates Booker’s hometown of Springfield, Kentucky, and the roots of a bourbon icon.
Aged for seven years, one month, and 12 days, this uncut and unfiltered bourbon is bottled at a bold 62.2% ABV, staying true to Booker’s uncompromising character. The batch blends five whiskies of varying ages from four different aging warehouses—each contributing subtle layers of complexity.
Expect a rich, full-bodied profile laced with coconut molasses, caramel-drenched dark chocolate, and a dusting of white pepper and cinnamon. The finish is long, warming, and unmistakably Booker’s: raw, honest, and deeply satisfying.
This is not just a bourbon—it’s a heartfelt homage to family, craftsmanship, and tradition in its most authentic form.

Bowmore 15 Year Old Sherry Cask
This mid‑aged expression builds on Bowmore’s signature coastal character using a sherry‑oak maturing regime: ex‑bourbon followed by Oloroso sherry cask finishing. Expect dense layers of raisin, mixed spice, chocolate and burnt sugar, with a graceful peat smoke weaving through the rich oak sweetness. Complex, rich and characterful with excellent structure.
Bowmore 15 Year Old
Bowmore 15 year old is extremely balanced and approachable. This 15‑year‐old offers a harmonious marriage of bourbon and sherry cask maturation. Bright fruit and vanilla sweetness lead into subtle, savoury smoke and a finish dusted with gentle spice and oak. A polished dram, silky in texture, and ideal for both novices and seasoned whisky lovers.

Chances are there wasn't collaboration, communication, and checkpoints, there wasn't a process agreed upon or specified with the granularity required. It's content strategy gone awry right from the start. Forswearing the use of Lorem Ipsum wouldn't have helped, won't help now. It's like saying you're a bad designer, use less bold text, don't use italics in every other paragraph. True enough, but that's not all that it takes to get things back on track.
The villagers are out there with a vengeance to get that Frankenstein
You made all the required mock ups for commissioned layout, got all the approvals, built a tested code base or had them built, you decided on a content management system, got a license for it or adapted:
- The toppings you may chose for that TV dinner pizza slice when you forgot to shop for foods, the paint you may slap on your face to impress the new boss is your business.
- But what about your daily bread? Design comps, layouts, wireframes—will your clients accept that you go about things the facile way?
- Authorities in our business will tell in no uncertain terms that Lorem Ipsum is that huge, huge no no to forswear forever.
- Not so fast, I'd say, there are some redeeming factors in favor of greeking text, as its use is merely the symptom of a worse problem to take into consideration.
- Websites in professional use templating systems.
- Commercial publishing platforms and content management systems ensure that you can show different text, different data using the same template.
- When it's about controlling hundreds of articles, product pages for web shops, or user profiles in social networks, all of them potentially with different sizes, formats, rules for differing elements things can break, designs agreed upon can have unintended consequences and look much different than expected.
This is quite a problem to solve, but just doing without greeking text won't fix it. Using test items of real content and data in designs will help, but there's no guarantee that every oddity will be found and corrected. Do you want to be sure? Then a prototype or beta site with real content published from the real CMS is needed—but you’re not going that far until you go through an initial design cycle.
