Indri Founders Reserve 11 Year Old
£339.99 inc. VATWhisky collectors take note – one of the rarest Indian single malts has just landed in the UK. Indri Founders Reserve 11 Year Old is limited to only 1,100 bottles worldwide, with a mere 66 allocated to the UK. This makes it not just a premium release, but a genuine collector’s treasure.
Crafted at the Indri-Trini distillery in Haryana, this is one of the oldest Indian single malts ever bottled. Aged for over a decade in hand-selected casks, it reflects both the intensity of India’s climate and the elegance of long, careful maturation.
On the nose, you’ll find honeyed fruit, dried apricots, vanilla and polished oak. The palate is layered with tropical fruit, warming spice, chocolate and malt sweetness, leading into a long finish of oak, spice and subtle sweetness. Each sip carries the depth and refinement that only extended ageing can deliver.
The rarity of this release cannot be overstated. With just 66 bottles available in the UK, demand is certain to outstrip supply. For those fortunate enough to secure a bottle, Founders Reserve represents a chance to own a unique piece of modern whisky history – a benchmark for Indian single malt on the world stage.

Clase Azul Mezcal Durango
Clase Azul Mezcal is crafted from Cenizo Agave, which grows wild in the State of Durango. The region’s extreme climate, mineral-rich soil, and natural springs impart a unique depth and complexity to its flavor, setting it apart from mezcals produced elsewhere in Mexico. The bottle’s design draws inspiration from black clay pottery, a hallmark of Mexican folk art, with its meticulous craftsmanship enhancing the beauty and quality of each piece.

Bowmore 25 Year Old
£350.00 inc. VATThis exquisitely balanced malt has taken its time, and asks that you do the same. A whisky of poise and discretion, the Bowmore 25-Year old is to be savoured slowly. Remarkable even by Bowmore’s standards, its baked butterscotch and singed cocoa weave through smoke and minerality.
A perfect pairing of hand-selected American oak ex-Bourbon casks and European oak Oloroso sherry casks give our legendary core range its vibrant, expressive persona. In our celebrated 25 Year Old the process is finished in our sherry cask.
Please note this is a pre order, stock expected to ship week commencing 17th October.
Clase Azul Mezcal San Luis
The third mezcal release from the iconic Clase Azul pays homage to the San Luis Potosí region, capturing its essence in both flavor and design. The bottle itself is a tribute to the desert valleys and rugged terrain that define this unique area.
Crafted from green agave, a native plant thriving in the deserts of San Luis Potosí, this mezcal offers an alluring profile. Experience a rich, earthy bouquet that evolves into notes of dried fruit, delicate smokiness, and a touch of citrus zest. The finish is smooth, with a subtle warmth and hint of spice.
The decanter is as captivating as the mezcal it holds. Each ceramic bottle is a handmade masterpiece, reflecting the stunning desert landscapes of mountains and valleys, adorned with vibrant red finches. The cap, created using a traditional yarn applique technique, is individually crafted by Mexican artisans, requiring over three hours of dedicated artistry for every piece.
The English Founders Private Cellar 18 Year Old Rum Cask
We proudly present Founders’ Private Cellar 18 Year Old – a Limited Edition Single Malt, matured for almost two decades in a single rum cask.
Hand-selected from the founding family’s private cellar, this exceptional whisky honours our legacy and the pioneering spirit that defined our early years. Its character recalls the much-loved Chapter 7 rum cask release, still regarded as a timeless favourite by our founders.
Close your eyes and you’ll be reminded of rich rum and raisin ice cream – indulgent, nostalgic, and unmistakably unique.
With only 174 individually numbered bottles available worldwide, this rare release is one for true collectors.
Cask

Nose
Lush fruits, caramel and vanilla, lifted by a subtle spice.
Palate
Full-bodied with warming cinnamon and clove, smooth vanilla, raisins, tropical boiled sweets and a whisper of oak smoke. Over time, the spice mellows into indulgent chocolate.
Finish
Medium to long, lingering with tropical fruit sweetness and oaky depth. A whisky that clings to the glass and reveals new layers with a drop of water.
Aberlour 33 Year Old 1989 Cask #3651
This distinguished 33-year-old Aberlour originates from a single bourbon hogshead, cask #3651, filled in 1989 and left to mature for more than three decades before being bottled in an extremely limited run of just 192 bottles.
Long-aged single-cask Aberlour is increasingly rare in the market, and the fact that this whisky comes from a lone cask makes it particularly special. When the final bottle is opened, the cask’s character is lost forever. Bottled at 42.4% without chill filtration or added colour, this release represents Aberlour at its most elegant: fruit-driven, softly spiced and wonderfully mature. The limited production not only enhances its collectability but firmly positions it as a unique piece of Speyside whisky history.
MacPhail’s 30 Year Old
We are delighted to offer this remarkable 30 Year Old from Gordon & MacPhail, which at £370 we think currently provides the best value for money in the whisky market.
Whilst the distillery remains a closely guarded secret, what we can tell you is that this is a sherry cask matured, single malt whisky from Speyside. The casks were produced to Gordon & MacPhail’s exact specifications, delivering a complex, rich, and elegant whisky with sweet sherry influences and an intriguing air of mystery at 46%.
Colour: Amber
Nose: Stewed fruit notes combined with apple, roasted nuts, and subtle chocolate. Honeycomb and dried apricot notes are present.
Taste: Spicy to start, followed by blackberry, raspberry, and apple. Milk chocolate, tangerine, and oak also come to the fore.
Finish: Medium finish with hints of menthol and lasting cocoa.
Glenfarclas 25 Year Old Decanter
The first in a series of five Glenfarclas decanter releases, this 25 year old whisky is presented in a hand-crafted Glencairn crystal decanter. Just 600 bottles were produced exclusive to the UK, all bottled at 49.5%. In the glorious decanter comes the usual sherry cask character from this adored Speyside distillery.
Laphroaig 25 Year Old
Laphroaig 25 Year Old is the pinnacle of this legendary Islay distillery’s craft, blending intensity with exceptional refinement. Aged for a quarter of a century in a combination of ex-Bourbon barrels and Oloroso sherry casks, this whisky showcases a masterful balance of Laphroaig’s signature peat smoke with rich, complex layers of sweetness, spice, and oak influence.
This rare and highly sought-after release offers an experience that is both powerful and elegant. The extended maturation allows the bold, medicinal peat smoke that defines Laphroaig to mellow into a sophisticated and deeply nuanced dram. The influence of American oak brings waves of vanilla and caramel, while the Oloroso sherry casks impart rich dried fruit, spice, and an undeniable depth of character. The result is a whisky that retains the unmistakable DNA of Laphroaig while delivering an extraordinary level of complexity and refinement.
Presented at cask strength, this whisky offers an unfiltered, full-bodied experience, allowing its natural flavours to shine. Whether sipped neat to appreciate its complexity or enjoyed with a drop of water to unlock further layers of aroma and taste, Laphroaig 25 Year Old is a whisky to be savoured. It is a true collector’s item and a must-have for lovers of peated whisky, showcasing the very best of Islay’s distinctive style.

The Lakes Elements
The original Whiskymaker’s Project, Elements is a library of whisky learning.
Offering a rare glimpse into the mind of a whiskymaker as they set out to create a new single malt whisky, this project originates before The Lakes ever released a single malt.
Remarkably rare and individually numbered, this collection of whisky is the result of a forensic examination of what a sherry cask could be. One of only 1,368 whisky libraries, it explores the flavour, aroma and texture derived from different sherry-seasoned oak casks, presenting a snapshot in time of seven different types of sherry wine: Fino, Manzanillia, Amontadillo, Palo Cortado, Cream, PX and Oloroso.
From dozens of casks and specifications used in the original project, seven core elements were identified for Elements, whereby all parameters remained identical; the oak type (American Oak), cask size (500-litre butts), maturing spirit, warehousing conditions and ABV (54%).
The result? Each Element isn’t a one-off, a special release, or an intriguing diversion from the main business, but one of the infinite fundamental building blocks that make up the Lakes’ maturation philosophy. It offers a whisky enthusiast the rare opportunity to experience, with the aid of a reference library, the specific characters, aroma, texture and flavour that each element has to play when used as a blending component in the creation of a sherry-led single malt whisky.
Each set contains:
- A unique whisky library of seven 20cl elements, each exploring a different sherry-seasoned oak
- A hardcover Elements guidebook, offering a background to each sherry wine and how it interacts with our casks and new make spirit
- An individually numbered certificate; one of only 1,368 libraries
- An exclusive link for registered buyers to behind-the-scenes content, including an “in the making” interview with Dhavall Gandhi

Chances are there wasn't collaboration, communication, and checkpoints, there wasn't a process agreed upon or specified with the granularity required. It's content strategy gone awry right from the start. Forswearing the use of Lorem Ipsum wouldn't have helped, won't help now. It's like saying you're a bad designer, use less bold text, don't use italics in every other paragraph. True enough, but that's not all that it takes to get things back on track.
The villagers are out there with a vengeance to get that Frankenstein
You made all the required mock ups for commissioned layout, got all the approvals, built a tested code base or had them built, you decided on a content management system, got a license for it or adapted:
- The toppings you may chose for that TV dinner pizza slice when you forgot to shop for foods, the paint you may slap on your face to impress the new boss is your business.
- But what about your daily bread? Design comps, layouts, wireframes—will your clients accept that you go about things the facile way?
- Authorities in our business will tell in no uncertain terms that Lorem Ipsum is that huge, huge no no to forswear forever.
- Not so fast, I'd say, there are some redeeming factors in favor of greeking text, as its use is merely the symptom of a worse problem to take into consideration.
- Websites in professional use templating systems.
- Commercial publishing platforms and content management systems ensure that you can show different text, different data using the same template.
- When it's about controlling hundreds of articles, product pages for web shops, or user profiles in social networks, all of them potentially with different sizes, formats, rules for differing elements things can break, designs agreed upon can have unintended consequences and look much different than expected.
This is quite a problem to solve, but just doing without greeking text won't fix it. Using test items of real content and data in designs will help, but there's no guarantee that every oddity will be found and corrected. Do you want to be sure? Then a prototype or beta site with real content published from the real CMS is needed—but you’re not going that far until you go through an initial design cycle.
