Tomatin 14 Year Old Port Cask with FREE A5 tasting notebook
The Tomatin 14 Year Old is soft, smooth and sweet, benefiting from its time spent in Tawny Port casks which previously held port for around 50 years. Rich but balanced aromas of red berries, sweet honey and rich toffee develop into aspects of light fruits and nuts on the palate and an abiding finish of smooth fruit salad.
100% – finished in first fill Tawny Port pipes for approximately two years. Previously held in ex-bourbon casks.
Ron Zacapa 23 Year Old Solera Gran Reserva
£53.95 inc. VATRon Zacapa No.23 is derived from a blend of aged rums between 6 and 23 years old, originating from the “Sistema Solera” aging process. Zacapa No. 23 is aged in selected barrels that previously aged robust American whiskey, delicate sherries and fine Pedro Ximénez wines, creating a smooth & balanced rum. Zacapa No. 23 Rum is best served neat, on the rocks or in your favourite dark spirit cocktail.
2019 Santa Rita Hills Pinot Noir, Racines, California, USA
An attractive wine, with flavours of sweet, dried cherry, mint, tobacco and sage. A savoury style of Pinot Noir, with plenty of aromatic presence, and plenty of fruit in the background.
The 2019 vintage offered optimal growing conditions in the Santa Rita Hills. Cooler, mild spring days resulted in a later bud break and flowering. Flowering took place after the common springtime winds and helped to ensure a good set. Summer offered overall moderate conditions, with few heat spikes leading to consistent and predictable ripening and longer hang-time. Cooler autumn temperatures allowed the fruit to ripen evenly and steadily, resulting in a later picking date than the previous two vintages. While the yields were slightly smaller than the previous years, the vineyards produced high quality, flavourful fruit.
Chateau Grand-Puy Ducasse 2016
Chateau Grand-Puy Ducasse 2016 is a classic Pauillac from an exceptional vintage. This stunning red delivers both finesse and structure in equal measure. It’s a wine that shows the pedigree of a Fifth Growth with ageing potential and depth.
The bouquet is layered and expressive, offering aromas of ripe blackcurrant, cigar box, pencil lead, and violets. The palate is elegant and firm, with finely grained tannins supporting flavours of blackberry, dark cherry, graphite, and toasted oak. There’s an underlying savoury complexity with touches of tobacco and crushed stone.
The finish is long and focused, with excellent tension and balance—an age-worthy claret that combines power with precision. Enjoy now with decanting, or cellar for another 10–15 years for greater evolution.
Final Touch Twister Wine Aerator & Decanter Set (750ml)

The unique 3 phase aeration and oxygenation system provides up to twice as much scent and flavour compared to serving from a bottle or traditional decanter.
Whitlaw (Highland Park) 2014 Carn Mor

This 7-year-old oozes with classic Orkney whisky character with notes of sea salt balanced with delicate peat smoke.
Bottled at 47.5%, just 1,603 bottles were produced.

The English Whisky Small Batch Sherry
A first for The English Whisky Company, whisky matured in a sherry butt. These lovely big oak sherry casks have imparted wonderfully delicate flavours to our whisky; with no peat in the whisky, the flavours shine though resulting in a wonderful taste reminiscent of sticky toffee pudding. A wonderful aroma of dried fruits; on tasting you are inundated with chocolate, bitter orange and sticky toffee pudding.

2020 Barolo `Coste di Rose`, G.D. Vajra, Piemonte, Italy
£55.00 inc. VATThis wine is dark ruby in colour. On the nose, there are intense aromas of cherry and rose with hints of amarena, wild berries, wet stone, mint and thyme. The palate is full-bodied, radiant and expressive with ripe tannins and a long, smooth finish.
2018 was marked by copious flowering, gradual ripening and one of the latest harvests of the past decade. The rainfall was abundant, especially in May, providing strong water reserves for the growing period. Harvesting of Nebbiolo took place at the end of October. The late harvest meant that the grapes were able to ripen at their own, gradual pace, developing complex varietal characteristics and red-fruit aromas. It is a favourable year for the best exposed sites and for high elevation and well-ventilated vineyards. The wines are fragrant with fine tannins and a balance reminiscent of 2004.

Chances are there wasn't collaboration, communication, and checkpoints, there wasn't a process agreed upon or specified with the granularity required. It's content strategy gone awry right from the start. Forswearing the use of Lorem Ipsum wouldn't have helped, won't help now. It's like saying you're a bad designer, use less bold text, don't use italics in every other paragraph. True enough, but that's not all that it takes to get things back on track.
The villagers are out there with a vengeance to get that Frankenstein
You made all the required mock ups for commissioned layout, got all the approvals, built a tested code base or had them built, you decided on a content management system, got a license for it or adapted:
- The toppings you may chose for that TV dinner pizza slice when you forgot to shop for foods, the paint you may slap on your face to impress the new boss is your business.
- But what about your daily bread? Design comps, layouts, wireframes—will your clients accept that you go about things the facile way?
- Authorities in our business will tell in no uncertain terms that Lorem Ipsum is that huge, huge no no to forswear forever.
- Not so fast, I'd say, there are some redeeming factors in favor of greeking text, as its use is merely the symptom of a worse problem to take into consideration.
- Websites in professional use templating systems.
- Commercial publishing platforms and content management systems ensure that you can show different text, different data using the same template.
- When it's about controlling hundreds of articles, product pages for web shops, or user profiles in social networks, all of them potentially with different sizes, formats, rules for differing elements things can break, designs agreed upon can have unintended consequences and look much different than expected.
This is quite a problem to solve, but just doing without greeking text won't fix it. Using test items of real content and data in designs will help, but there's no guarantee that every oddity will be found and corrected. Do you want to be sure? Then a prototype or beta site with real content published from the real CMS is needed—but you’re not going that far until you go through an initial design cycle.
