Benromach Virgin Oak Air Dried 2012
This limited-edition release has been matured in air dried Virgin Oak barrels. This results in sweet vanilla fudge aromas with toasted cereal and citrus blossom. Smooth yet peppery notes follow, with vanilla, fresh peppermint and oak flavours. Subtle smoke lingers on the finish.

The Lakes The One Colheita Cask Finish
Colheita (Col-yate-a) means “harvest”, referring to the exclusive use of grapes from a single crop to create a vintage port.
The singular blend of The Lakes Single Malt and select grain and malt Scotch whiskies from the Highlands, Speyside and Islay is then finished in rare Colheita casks to create this rich and warming expression of The One.
Peach cobbler, fresh apricot, and a whiff of autumnal smoke on the nose lead to a palate of ripe plums, vanilla custard and warming cinnamon with a rich and comforting finish.
Non-chill filtered for a richer mouthfeel and fuller flavour, with only the natural colours derived from our oak casks in every bottle.
Enjoy as you please. Sip neat, or add a few drops of water to open up the flavour profile.
Benromach Peat Smoke 2014 Sherry Cask Finish 2023 Bottling
The Benromach Peat Smoke Sherry Cask is only ever produced in very limited batches, using the finest Scottish malted with high levels of peat smoke at 57ppm. The whisky is aged for eight years in oak casks, including a mouth watering finish in first-fill Sherry hogshead casks.
Nose: Sweet vanilla bean and stewed fruits
Palate: Zesty citrus peel and lush summer berry flavours
Finish: Peat smoke and hints of spicy ginger
The Lakes Whiskymakers Iris Edition

This extra special Single Cask edition of King’s Inch Single Malt Whisky marks the brand’s first anniversary since launch.
Their King’s Inch Sherry Edition has spent 7 years maturing in a single Oloroso Sherry Butt. Only 586 bottles were produced. Bottled at high alcohol strength (58%) and presented without colouring or chill-filtration.

Tasting Notes:
Anticipate macerated dark fruits with cream on the nose and warm wintery spices with crunchy Demerara sugar on the palate. A long finish carries the same rich sweetness.
Lochlea Ploughing Edition
The fourth and final in an annual series of limited edition bottlings, the ‘Ploughing Edition’ reflects the season of Winter on the farm, when Lochlea start to plough the fields in preparation for sowing the barley seed in Spring. This is the first smoky whisky that Lochlea’s Production Director John Campbell has created outside of Laphroaig!
Lochlea have created a warming, smoky version of their signature whisky by using a combination of ex-Islay barrels and peated quarter casks and have chosen an icy blue label to reflect the bitterly cold and frosty Aryshire winters.
Old Tom Gin
This Old Tom Gin features botanicals historically found in traditional Old Tom recipes dating back to the 1700s, including orange peel, liquorice and angelica root. Sweetened with a touch of sugar syrup, the Cotswolds Old Tom Gin is delicate and fragrant with notes of candied orange, light herbal notes and faint ginger spice and is delicious enjoyed either with tonic or in a Tom Collins cocktail.
Cotswolds Harvest Series Golden Wold
Cotswolds limited edition Golden Wold Single Malt Whisky is the first release in their Harvest Series and is a blend of select ex-Bourbon, STR red wine and Peated casks. Lochlea Fallow Edition
The third in an annual series of limited seasonal bottlings, Lochlea ‘Fallow Edition’ (First Crop) reflects the season of autumn on the farm, when the fields are left fallow to rest after a busy harvest. This is the first Lochlea release to be matured solely in 100% ex-Oloroso Sherry butts. A rich purple label reflects the crisp leaves that cover the ground as temperatures begin to fall.
Tasting Notes
Nose: Ripe red fruits & freshly baked banana loaf
Palate: Dried fruit , leathery notes, malt biscuits
Finish: Medium length, with hints of aniseed & moreish floral rose petals
Boulder Bottled In Bond Straight Bourbon
Boulder bottled in bond is a hidden gem in the bourbon world. The Bottled In Bond Act of 1897 was written to ensure the consumer was informed the contents of that bottle were of quality standards and made in compliance with industry standards. In modern times, this ensures the consumer knows three major things: It’s at least 4 years of age and all the whiskey is harvested from the same season, it is bottled at exactly 100 proof, and perhaps most importantly, the labelling states where it’s made and who bottled the
whiskey inside.
Profile: Oatmeal cookie, candied ginger, and allspice. Aged 4 years and bottled at 100 proof.
Lochlea Harvest Edition First Crop
The second in an annual series of limited seasonal bottlings, Lochlea Harvest Edition reflects the end of summer, when the golden barley is ready to be harvested and eventually used for next year’s production. The coral red has been chosen to reflect the Ayrshire soil, which changes colour to a deep, sunset hue once the barley has been harvested.
From port, oloroso sherry and bourbon casks, this whisky has stewed apples, pear drops and oat biscuits on the palate, strawberries and toasted marshmallows on the nose and Lochlea’s signature cereal and freshly cut grass on the finish.
Bottled at 46%.

Chances are there wasn't collaboration, communication, and checkpoints, there wasn't a process agreed upon or specified with the granularity required. It's content strategy gone awry right from the start. Forswearing the use of Lorem Ipsum wouldn't have helped, won't help now. It's like saying you're a bad designer, use less bold text, don't use italics in every other paragraph. True enough, but that's not all that it takes to get things back on track.

You made all the required mock ups for commissioned layout, got all the approvals, built a tested code base or had them built, you decided on a content management system, got a license for it or adapted:
- The toppings you may chose for that TV dinner pizza slice when you forgot to shop for foods, the paint you may slap on your face to impress the new boss is your business.
- But what about your daily bread? Design comps, layouts, wireframes—will your clients accept that you go about things the facile way?
- Authorities in our business will tell in no uncertain terms that Lorem Ipsum is that huge, huge no no to forswear forever.
- Not so fast, I'd say, there are some redeeming factors in favor of greeking text, as its use is merely the symptom of a worse problem to take into consideration.
- Websites in professional use templating systems.
- Commercial publishing platforms and content management systems ensure that you can show different text, different data using the same template.
- When it's about controlling hundreds of articles, product pages for web shops, or user profiles in social networks, all of them potentially with different sizes, formats, rules for differing elements things can break, designs agreed upon can have unintended consequences and look much different than expected.
This is quite a problem to solve, but just doing without greeking text won't fix it. Using test items of real content and data in designs will help, but there's no guarantee that every oddity will be found and corrected. Do you want to be sure? Then a prototype or beta site with real content published from the real CMS is needed—but you’re not going that far until you go through an initial design cycle.
