COTSWOLD DISTILLERY REIGNS SUPREME!

For the second year running, the Cotswolds Distillery has been crowned the most popular whisky distillery in the UK and Ireland, according to The Cask Connoisseur.

This spectacular achievement highlights the distillery’s exceptional online presence, with scores drawn from Google, TripAdvisor, and social media engagement across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, Twitter, and YouTube. Out of a possible 3,576 points, the Cotswolds Distillery scored an impressive 3,217.

The Cotswold Distillery was founded by Daniel Szor in 2014, it emerged from a vision to create outstanding spirits in one of the most picturesque regions of the UK. 

Visitors to the distillery are treated to a range of experiences that showcase the meticulous craft of distilling. The award-winning Tour and Tasting experience is priced at £25 per person, whilst the Blending Masterclasses and Virtual Tastings is priced at £100 per person.

In the 2024 ranking, 12 of the top 20 distilleries were from Scotland, five from Ireland, two from England, and one from Wales. The Spirit of Yorkshire was the other English distillery which ranked 17th.
