BOWMORE COLLABORATES WITH ASTON MARTIN FOR AN IMMERSIVE EXPERIENCE

Having collaborated on a number of releases, Bowmore have again partnered with Aston Martin, this time offering an immersive experience called Captivating Islay. 

This experience starts with a visit to Kilnaughton Bay, before a visit to Bowmore’s water source the River Laggan. From there, guests are taken to explore ancient woodland before going to the Bridgend hotel, where they will enjoy a lunch made using local produce. A tour of Bowmore distillery follows and guests are then allowed to fill their own Bowmore which is a single malt that was laid down in 1998. 

Throughout the day guests are chauffeured in a specially commissioned Aston Martin DBX. The vehicle was commissioned by Bowmore, it features Bowmore’s signature blue colour, with copper inlays that came from their original whisky still on the side of the vehicle. The interior features Bowmore tweed, copper cupholders, headrests with an embroidered map of Islay and sill plaques that come from Bowmore’s still. 

Bowmore are Aston Martin’s exclusive spirits partner and have a long standing collaboration. Releases include a limited edition 52 year old single malt with a decanter that was designed by Aston Martin. With only 100 ever made, the decanter is highly sought after and in 2023 one of the decanters went for £225,000.
