On the nose, cassis and black cherry mingle with hints of cedar, tobacco leaf, and crushed violet. The palate is plush yet structured, with ripe tannins framing layers of dark fruit, graphite, and a touch of cocoa. There’s an effortless balance here — the opulence of the vintage tempered by a refreshing lift on the finish. Extended barrel ageing has woven in subtle spice and a silky texture, making it approachable now but capable of ageing gracefully for a decade or more.

This is Left Bank Bordeaux at its most generous, pairing beautifully with roast lamb, duck breast, or a simple grilled ribeye. A bottle that speaks of classic Médoc elegance while delivering the richness and depth modern palates love.
