Buffalo Trace is bringing back their prized Antique Collection for 2023. This year’s five-bottle set will arrive in early October.

Launched in 2000 and now in its 23rd year, the Antique Collection is an annual showcase of Buffalo’s dedication to crafting high-quality whiskey. This year it will include George T. Stagg Bourbon, Thomas H. Handy Sazerac Rye Whiskey, Sazerac Rye 18-Year-Old Whiskey, William Larue Weller Bourbon, and Eagle Rare 17-Year-Old Bourbon.

The standout whiskey this year is the Eagle Rare 17-Year-Old Bourbon. At 19 years and three months old, it’s the oldest whiskey to ever feature in the collection. This bourbon offers flavours of dark chocolate, cherries, caramel, and subtle notes of tobacco.

If you enjoy a strong bourbon, the look no further than the George T. Stagg. It has aged for 15 years and 4 months and is bottled at a hefty 65%. It heightens the senses with scents of cinnamon, cherry cola, and a palate of leather, chocolate, and vanilla.

Another highlight is the William Larue Weller. This year’s bottle comes in at a robust 66.8%, providing a bold bourbon experience.

The collection also includes rye whiskies in the form of Sazerac Rye 18-Year-Old Whiskey and Thomas H. Handy Sazerac Rye Whiskey.

The Antique Collection bottles will be available from select stores, each priced at £105.
