The Macallan’s TIME : SPACE is more than just a whisky; it is a tribute to the passage of time and the interplay between nature and craftsmanship. This limited release pairs the oldest whisky ever bottled by Macallan, a rare 1940 vintage matured for 84 years, with a 2018 vintage that was laid down when the new distillery opened, representing the future of the distillery. 

This release is housed in a revolutionary dual chamber vessel, where the precious whiskies reside, protected by spikes—a visual metaphor for the fragility and beauty of time. The design draws on a retro-futuristic aesthetic, capturing the essence of time travel and the connection between nature and innovation.

The Time : SPACE Mastery release takes inspiration from Macallan’s past whisky masters and the various cask styles that have defined the distillery’s signature complexity. This release is a deep dive into the layers of aroma, texture, and flavour that have become synonymous with Macallan.

With only 200 units of TIME : SPACE available—one for each year of The Macallan’s history—this release is as rare as it is symbolic.
